Good display and announcement, poor route selection

Have this Garmin acquired as WHD.
+ Very good, high-contrast and non-glare display
+ Timely and significant announcement with repeat
+ Very good haptics
+ Uncomplicated and trouble-Update (PC Win7)
+ LTM perfect

o self latest map version is sometimes out of date in isolated streets.
Since 1.5 years existing roads and dead ends and one-way streets are not amended as shown.
But I also know of the competitors such as TomTom.

- Route suggestions are often adventurous regardless of the route chosen properties (quickest or shortest route).
If you want the shortest route and the route by highway is even much shorter, it sends a self with
latest firmware and map every now and then through the prairie.
Imputed initially operating errors by me.
In this point mEzB TOMTOM and Co is better.

Given of price / performance still a buy recommendation, since other Navis patzen; o (
