I bought the plant to my in the years have come Yamaha Dolby ProLogic replace amplifier and simultaneously to replace my DVD player in January 2012. After only one day the plant was delivered - even a day earlier announced as Amazon. I was very happy!
After unpacking the system, the next positive fact: The speakers look much better in real mark, as in the picture! While the piano black finish is not always to my taste, but goes well with my TV. The enclosed cable are certainly not the longest - for my sofa area ranging from but.
After installing the boxes and longer cabling action (should everything look neat) the initial configuration. There are make only a few settings (eg how the boxes were set up, the picture format to be used and the like). Then I have configured the network, then a firmware update performed (this took about 10 minutes, so you need some patience)
Then a couple of first functional tests:
Music from my iPod Touch is rendered crystal clear and with good highs and lows. Even at high volumes, the system overrides not - but the bass is also logically stronger, which rather less pleased the neighbors :)
An inserted Blu-Ray will be played after 10 seconds despite switched off Quick Start. The image and sound are very good! Better than I expected for an installation of this price.
The integrated DLNA client is a bit disappointing: Almost none of the existing videos can be played. MKV files are not even displayed. Here there is also another problem: The system can only FAT32, NTFS no. This is the maximum usable file size with USB storage devices (flash drive or hard drive) at 4GB - not nearly enough for high definition MKV files. I have faced the Panasonic Support with this problem and wait for feedback. This I will update here ...
The online functions of the player are nice, but nothing more really. Some of the features: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, Bild.de, Shoutcast Internet radio, ...
The processing of the player and the speaker makes a good impression, the remote control is also pretty good - only the home button attached unhappy, so that sometimes, rather than switch upwards again ends up in the home screen. But what is certain habituation thing ...
Overall, I am - up on the DLNA MKV FAT32 limitation so far very satisfied with the device, should be to change that, I'll change it here also and update. For the price I expected but not a high-end device. The sound is that of my (much more expensive) Yamaha system but equal, but this had significantly larger boxes, was also greater total and was just analog only.

After several uses, including with iPod, Blu-Ray and streaming via the following comments:
By default, the bass is very strong, which interferes in rental housing may neighbors. Even reducing the subwoofer level at level 1 and a switch on the Whisper modes create no real remedy. Terminating playback, you however each box (incl. Woofer) can change individually between +6 and -6 dB in the Audio settings. That has helped me!
Otherwise, I am still more than satisfied with the device! What would I still need:
- Audio output (at least jack / RCA)
- MKV via DLNA
- NTFS disk support
The latter two could be due to replacement delivery of software updates - remains to be seen!
