Installation with the rubber nipples is advisable, however, designed, but that's not the fans, but in the nature of things, a bit fiddly. What has me but really quite rankled is clearly too short cord on the fan itself, which at a somewhat unfavorable constellation effectively prevent (fitted at the front of the chassis, unfavorably positioned pin header) knows a direct connection to the motherboard. Completely unnecessary and annoying, so I only four stars. I had to fall back on two occasions to the Molex adapter, which attracted additional clutter in the housing by itself.
This fan runs pleasantly quiet, but not inaudible, but this is at 1000rpm to be expected; only at speeds of ~ 700-750rpm is a (good) fan in quiet rooms virtually imperceptible. But that does not really here in an office environment plays a role.
At the cooling performance, there is nothing to complain about, for a silent running 1000rpm fan it's perfectly fine.
