To end this enigmatic title, my first impressions of this flashlight:

Positive: no batteries; good brightness; reloading simplicity (with a little elbow grease (via the handle) / in "idle" mode (with solar mode)). Therefore appropriate to a wide range of people!

A statement downside: the mode "diodes flash simultaneously." I did not understand the project! Ideas maybe?

Still, it's a good flashlight!
