Xucker Premium xylitol (manufactured in Finland from "beech and birch wood") is well suited as a substitute for ordinary table sugar. Personally, I prefer this version rather than the Xucker Basic xylitol (manufactured in China from corn). Depending on your personal tolerance, however, the amount of the direct / indirect consumed xylitol should be limited in any case. The tolerance is in my experience good, but quickly leads at a somewhat higher amount to indigestion in the intestinal region. Therefore, a combination of xylitol and other sugar-related products is used in our rule.
