The Silva in direct comparison:
+ Significantly lighter and more comfortable to wear by the wider belt does not slip so easily from the head.
+ Uniform Exterior ambient lighting.
+ The lamp has a battery-saving Flashlight signal function. Hopefully I'll never need it, but when, I'll probably be happy about it.
- The low weight comes at a price. Everything is clearly "shaky" and cheaper (Since my H7 is broken, has it the high robust and sophisticated-looking structure but also brought to the proper worked aluminum LED housing is not much).
- Only two levels of brightness compared to the infinitely variable H7. The lower level lighter, brighter level darker than the respective vertices of the H7.
- Literally biggest drawback in my eyes: the lamp appears. The scattered light is so extreme that it lit up has its own nose in the field, while at the top of the eyebrows and a disturbing edge light are noticing. Da Silva must necessarily make improvements.
+/- As with the H7, there are no accessories for helmet mounting. The band is just enough so to enclose my helmet, but is then very taut, which is not good for the material safely.
+/- The lamp had to join in the rain or not running. I will report whether the components, especially the not very firmly closing the battery compartment hold tight.
Conclusion: I have the lamp just keep quite frankly, because I had already disposed of the packaging material in mental derangement. The dispersion can be with geknaupten aids (tape) stop, and then the lamp was mannerly. Nevertheless rather a recommendation.
