+ The size is perfect in my opinion. It is so small and light that you can grab it even in your pocket
+ Stable built. So I have not the same fear that it falls apart or breaks if it falls down times (to me quite a few times happened). Only the base is a bit shaky.
+ The battery life also pleases me very well. With WLAN on average brightness, the device creates with me approx 6hrs and it is quickly recharged believable about 45 minutes
+ Good speakers. Are quite noisy and have a good sound in my opinion, so to watch movies and series it ranges all times.
o The base is indeed a brilliant addition but he is quite shaky and it bothers me that you can not possibly like snapping it into place. he droning so quickly that I'm not sure if you could ever stand it differently than all poped.
o I like the screen size but the resolution is modest because you have to remove the software buttons and so a non-standard resolution comes about. that you do not press this Androidbuttons by the + and - keys can hide or I find a shame.
o the display reflects quite strong but you can well offset by a matte screen film and the brightness control.
o go only headphones with 3 contacts so headphones with microphone not work not even to sound only spend when you completely clean infected.
o Standard Google programs like the Market must be installed but what a matter of a few minutes. (Gapps4archos)
- Root is only with the SDK from Archos possible which unfortunately may void the warranty.
- A little more RAM would have tolerated it already. In games it from time to time have increased.
- It will fit just right on it because few programs an extra partition for this will be provided and not the 8GB I think after about 20 apps was with me closing if at all. When you outsource to the SD card already go some more but unfortunately it takes then the start of the programs a little longer, and after the start you have to wait about 10-15 seconds to bite the programs can start.
- I've seen it with anyone yet really geschaft program to let the screen in portrait orientation. once you make the auto rotation from you is some how always in landscape mode. This is sometimes a bit nerfig if you order in bed reading since the orientation else always turns.
So as I said I use the device every day and has to load it because I use it so much daily. I read a lot so mainly fanfics in the browser. However, since I use rather the Dolhpine there is again more quickly and thus already superior to the standard. Read manga works perfectly most fit the portrait orientation so the screen that you can read everything. Watching movies is also good even if the device a little difficulty with Win7 SMB share but this is due to Windows.
All in all I can each of the cheap eBook reader examined the more than can only read ebooks, or any of a device search for short times to surf on the couch this device recommended.
