Reception:
The FM reception is ordentich but not great, one must know if you want to use the radio mainly in FM mode. Strong stations get along very well "pure" but schächere noise have superimposed.
The DAB reception is almost better than the FM reception ... although in my region no DAB reception should be 12 stations come in good !!! The tip that I have read in another review, retract the last two antenna segments at DAB is really helpful: so the reception is better!
The wireless reception is excellent, better than my iPad, I get even very weak wireless access points inside.
Sound:
the sound is absolutely OK, I can not understand, the claim that the sound is too bassy or dull the other reviews.
The FM volume is higher than the DAB volume level but still just as adequate.
Well, I think that you can not turn the knob until it stops and then brings the audio portion of the device to oversteer, the sound still remains at full volume well and without "rattling".
Ease of use:
the radio is really easy to use (especially since the manual is not really useful, but that does not matter). What I lack is a more direct access to preset stations. In DAB or FM mode, you must first establish the Favorites button (heart) and then press to select via the rotary push button, which works very well, but is just no direct access How the example wishes via station button.
In Internet Mail Only mode (lounge), the selection of favorites is still complicated, you can not have any favorites on the "heart" key deposit, but must always go beyond the lounge. This means several menu steps before you is where you are going.
Again, the operation is simple and self-explanatory, but the lack of buttons can be a little annoying ... rotate a little and press do you get the station selected, which one wants to hear.
The good thing is that I have but tested only with built-in battery powered (ChargePAK): at power is the last station you listen to, be it FM, DAB or Internet back ... for me as a faithful listener of mainly a transmitter thus relativized the points mentioned above, the somewhat awkward Favorites Search.
Internet connectivity:
I personally have gained me the radio for use in caravans, so I - can receive here in Germany in our camp my favorite channels well and can be heard even in summer Wi-Fi at the campsite the same favorite stations. As long as I'm at home on my home network to the Internet is no problem, at a public hot spot but there is a problem: the physical wireless network is simply connected (usually even without a password). The subsequent inquiry about account-entry and web page can not the radio, however. This means I can use the radio for mobile applications only as FM or DAB radio.
Conclusion:
The Radio is fun and I do not regret having bought it. The only negative thing that really bothers me is that the Internet via a public hot spot and Wi-Fi is not supported. However good DAB radios cost without Internet only slightly less than the Pure One Flow and therefore is this lack still fine for me.
