I have now tried a whole range of gloves for cycling in the winter months. I drive with a fast e-bike to 45 km / h throughout the year when it is not snowing or icy. The VAUDE is in principle a good glove, but a little tight turns and tend to have a number want to buy more, when I'm at the top of one size. The processing at VAUDE is without a blemish! The glove has a very good grip and it can be very precise shifting and braking with it. To about 3 degrees on the fast e-bike hand remains reasonably warm, including I get cold fingers! In the normal cycle, it reaches about -2 degrees. A pity, however, is that this VAUDE is not waterproof! Water-resistant to about 10-15 minutes, after which the fingers are then but moist and wet and then is no longer fun. That was ultimately the reason why I have then given two other gloves preference. At temperatures up to about 4 degrees plus the Uni Protective Gloves Waterproof to be used. These are actually waterproof for about 45 minutes, then these gloves are only moist and wet. When VAUDE I had but after about 15 minutes and thus later than the half of my daily Fahrrsdstrecke rain. Unfortunately, impregnating always helped .. only for a few days and that was annoying. With the Protective Uni I had here the time that I need to come up with dry hands unerfroren home. And the VAUDE were just then but about closely. That VAUDE can be different, to show my favorite gloves that I wear when the temperature falls below +4 degrees: the VAUDE Gloves Syberia that also on the fast S-Pedelic still warm to about -10 degrees and also even in continuous rain after 45 minutes still completely (!!!) keep dry. In order for the VAUDE Hanko has come for me only in second place, due to insufficient water tightness and a better glove is also rainproof even in really cold temperatures. Still, I find that the Hanko is a really good grip and glove that provides good services to sth 3 degrees, if it does not provide permanent raining. Therefore, from me:-deserved 4 stars!
