I'm with the HD 558 very satisfied so far. It sits well on the head, maybe a little tight but it does not bother me. The ear fits completely into the phone, and through the open system you get enough of the environment if it is approached by a person or the phone rings. The sound pleases me well, the bass is just right and the sound is not distorted as with other headphones I've tested. The cable is pretty long (3m) so you can watch TV with it from your couch without having to buy the same extension.
Half a star could deduct for the fabric of the shells, which is in fact a magnet for lint and hair, but very easily be stripped off again with your fingers. But one does not sweat under the fabric as it is known from conventional imitation leathers.
Since you can not assign 4.5 stars here, I give full 5 stars !!!
