Good headphones but significant setback to its predecessor

I bought almost two years ago the predecessor HA FX1X because these were on offer and had not have too high expectations of this - what can you ask for headphones under 15, after all? When the parcel arrived and I've heard this sample for the first time, I noticed proverbial "jaw on the floor" - as it managed JVC elicit such an insane bass from this small headphones ?! Then there is the madness Design and the thick, seemingly stable cable. I was simply amazed and still think that it, in the range up to 100 - no comparable in-ears are.

Some time ago, the cable threatened to break and I have unfortunately failed to act - as this happened a short time after, and I needed replacement. So I bought these new headphones / the successor HA-FX101-RE - hoping to get at least an equivalent product.

Unfortunately, I was bitterly disappointed: The formerly wertig sounding cable is only half as thick at new headphones and seems almost fragile. In addition, it makes a downright cheap appearance, fluttering in the wind and acts badly attached to the earplugs. These are now red, which indeed works better at first glance, but I'm not a fan of the glossy finish.

With all the flaws but I have to admit that the deep-heavy madness bass sound has remained still preserved and even a ticking sounds better than before. Nevertheless, I would choose again for the predecessor and will grow me this again.

JVC: Please orientate the predecessor again. That was a truly exceptional product. :)
