Benefits for old 14-42er: + Makes a clear impression wertigeren + Is mainly off-center significantly sharper (extreme difference with me) + The zoom ring runs much smoother (so is the video record almost "jerking" can be used) + Is much smaller than its predecessor + The zoom moves no longer so far + What's even noticed: With long exposures at night are now significantly more stars visible in the picture (expected to be at significantly higher sharpness)
Disadvantages to the old 14-42er: - With reversed the hood attached to the zoom ring is no longer usable - The protective cap can no longer be so easily / quickly set up
Note: * Use of a Panasonic G3 * I have no comparison to the old way 14-45er or good fixed focal lengths.
Conclusion: I'm with the objective now completely satisfied. Now that I am only bright fixed focal lengths ;-)
