The 45er does not need to fear comparison to '85. The picture quality is simply very good. The focus is quick and absolutely reliable. The sharpness of the lens is extremely good even at full aperture. The use is considerably simpler than the '85, since the area of the depth of field is significantly larger than the 85, but small enough to achieve a very good exemption for portraits.
The sharpness together with the bokeh (background blur) cause portraits with a "wow factor".
