However ergonomics and choice of e-everything very problematic for use:
- These helmets are poorly easy to use: all with unique electronic and buttons that they do differentiated pressures (long, short, 10 sec, etc.). It becomes difficult not to resort to the manual in case of special need (helmet addition, resychronisation, etc.) However, it is on CD-ROM!
- The scope is not at all satisfactory: in front of the screen, no pb, but when you go to the toilet, the trouble starts: sound interruptions (the system is electronic, the sound does not diminish as in models old, he makes clear cuts, so you lose the thread of your program).
- The kegs suffer little interference problems: if the signal is lost in the distance, the 2nd helmet undergoes a brief mute (!). Also, microwave ovens are running interference on helmets nearby, less than 2 meters, this translates into close intermittent sound interruptions. In this case too, the 2nd helmets is cut back shorter, however, sound (!).
- It also happens that one of the helmets lose all alone sync with the base (relighting, nothing). He must then leave the computer to access the information form (already 2 times in 6 months).
- A silly function that when you turn on the base, if you press again on a 2nd time - the single - button, you temporarily turn off the second helmet! I can not count the times I had to get up off the couch to go to press again a third time to reconnect the lost helmets!
- The volume adjustment buttons have no blind benchmark. so it is difficult to find - and + groping full movie and it is not uncommon to turn off your headset unintentionally, the power button being glued to those of the volume. infuriating ...
- These buttons are poorly positioned on the helmets (some on the back) and they are too sensitive. If you sink a bit in the back of your sofa, the helmet may turn off by itself. It's rare, but it happens and it's painful.
- The shape of the helmet does not make clear the meaning of the pose and put it in reverse is not uncommon. It becomes less comfortable.
- Finally, it's a detail, helmets are so tight sound that can not share a word, to have a conversation with your neighbor, or ... to hear children crying eg ... to speak to his neighbor, he must depart slightly from a headphones ear and keep well if we are to remain available. That is the principle of a closed helmet isolate yourself from the outside but in the case of a family using filmic, TV, one must know.
In short, the evidence of the products developed and sold too quickly by Sennheiser who obviously has no serious leads user test yet for this expensive product.
In summary, I would say that for use in home theater front of the screen, its helmets make a good service, which offsets the problems.
In another use, the default surpass, in my opinion, the qualities of the camera.
Good choice.

With time, I came to understand that a short press on the on / off button on the headset put the pause. With the helmet of the second cut-off system by pressing a second time on the basic button, this is a double combination possibility of inadvertent failure which, in use, and difficult to manage. This is what in fact that I thought the helmet désynchronisait with the base. In fact, the helmets are never out of sync (no pb for 14 months), it's just that it's impossible not to cut the helmets regularly unintentionally.
I use these 2 helmets for 18 months, almost every night for multimedia use (film; series) and I am pretty happy final (except this untimely interruption problem) because I stay on the couch: the main defect is really the scope is completely pathetic: a wall and it's cut, with the second helmet which also cut. The main quality is the autonomy largely one week with 3-4 hours of daily use. As for me, I refill with Sanyo eneloop battery (the top) to a charger Powerex MH-C9000 (the rolls chargers) because the load via headphones and the base is excruciatingly long (15 hours instead of 30 minutes with my other device). Other positive point: the sound quality (perfect for a cinema effect) and to silence the outside: when children have helmets, this is the royal peace ;-). So a good product for a mold used in the sofa, but especially not for portable use in the house. Moreover, the price starts to drop since lobsolescence programmed Sennheiser is operating with a "new model" which, surprisingly, has a range - is a bill - greater. I think therefore equip myself an extra keg for cheap with the "old" equipment 2011. Good choice.
