The establishment of the hotspot is very simple through a browser. One can hire a private APN, if not necessarily the right was recognized. He also reports the same, that you should change the password of the WLAN, for increased security. The PIN number is automatically entered by the hot spot each time after a single input. So you just have to turn it on and start surfing after the initial startup.
I have the Huawei ordered in white and I like it very much. He is also very small and light, of the area about as a credit card. The battery lasts quite well if he keeps the promised four hours I can not say exactly. Is also very great that the hotspot is turned on very quickly, so no need to wait until long to go surfing.
What I did not like so much:
First, the extremely short cables (about 15 cm) and the constantly fiepende PSU. One can of course also use another power supply and cable, the Huawei has the standard USB connection as common smartphones (Android, Windows Phone). Because the charger and cables can include product and maybe not everyone has spare at home, I prefer here but from a star. There is also always recommend only the original accessories to use.
The display does not just provide accurate information. There are ads for SMS, battery, and wireless Internet connection. Each in green and orange. The Internet connection varies with me fairly and keeps changing from green to orange. If one then looks up, for example, in the app, it nevertheless indicates 3G, but for example, only 2 of 5 bar. For the speed that has no major impact in my experience, but first it is believed that only 2G were present.
In summary, I can say that I am very happy with the Huawei E5220. I finally have a stable Wi-Fi connection for my mobile Internet, unlike with the TP-Link above. I would encourage anyone who has a mobile Internet this hotspot.
--- UPDATE --- 10.04.2014
The internet is still extremely stable. I had a single crash and the wireless and mobile connection will always work very well.
I have now tested the hotspot on a 4-hour train ride. He keeps the Internet connection and connects instantly when newly re-power is there. A great companion on long train rides so;)
The battery lasts quite well.
