The Cilio-pot is in the middle segment between the rather expensive Bodum jug and now no longer available Tchibo version. Unfortunately, the production quality is improved. The chrome plating is not very good, for me it dissolves in some places already.
As with the other two cans also, a rubber seal on the filter is used. By manufacturing and the lack of thickness of the rubber seal is set in more coffee than is the case with the wire mesh of glass jugs. After frequent hand the rubber becomes brittle and there are no spare parts. Then the pot is useless.
The insulation effect is better than that of glass jugs, but not with thermoses comparable. The pot itself is quite hot.
Overall, a good buy if it would be better made or cheaper.
