The novel design of this castle is at first glance a brilliant idea. In unused condition compactly folded, it offers more flexibility than when connecting eg a U-lock. Initially surprised the heavy weight, but this castle falls at Abus in the highest level of security, and at the level it takes a lot of steel to deter thieves. The impression becomes cloudy everyday. Connecting designed to be relatively hakelig, and the end segment can be inserted only with difficulty into the lock cylinder in unfavorable angles.
The biggest weakness shows up shortly thereafter. The metal segments are indeed covered, but the surface is so hard that my castle has bruised the framework within a short time. Here Abus seem to have not thought through to the end.
So in the end, a sheathed chain or coated steel cable. Too bad about the money.
