A few things have me so far noticed during use, the only four stars are my value in the evaluation.
1) The primary packaging is the X30 provided with Czech / Slovak stickers, it is proven (see photo) to a model that was probably intended for the Czech / Slovak markets / is.
2) After I had not quite seen some functions of the camera from the menu, I wanted to consult the manual. And then came the next surprise: Even the 56-page brief is only in Czech / Slovak (and English) on paper (or in many other languages, including German on the enclosed CD as a PDF document) available. Who here once just want nachblättern, and neither English nor Czech / Slovak talks must be satisfied with the PDF version of the home page and is forced to auszurdrucken the manual itself.
A detailed full manual that I know of other major camera manufacturers, even if it's just a much more favorable compact camera, the Fujifilm X30 is neither as hard copy or as PDF on the CD. One will refer to the homepage of the Fujifilm again and can only download a copy of the site as a pdf here. A look at anything but well programmed site suffices that was probably also saved here at the wrong end. The layout is abysmal and the pdf-term lack of clarity. This is anything but customer-friendly.
2) The lens cap is me already been dropped (on pavement) and already had a visible dent in the cover, which is probably made of aluminum. With a bit of tact I could turn the cover back almost round, but the dent will probably remain. That does not matter, because the lid is lined inside with soft plastic, so that a small deviation from the circle does not come to fruition. There is not a way to attach the lens cap to the strap. Too bad. Here I have to probably an extra lens cap holder (actually a "penny Product") to buy.
3) The cover for the battery compartment and the SD card is primarily made of plastic. Before eingen years ago I had a Fuji S5500, the battery was completely made of plastic. Two years ago, a part is the lid-locking irreparably broken, so that the camera is no longer usable since. With so much magnesium alloy in the case of X30 me the cheap-looking battery cover just a saving in the wrong place appears. Unfortunately seems a savings trend, the other camera manufacturers adopt (z. B. the Canon EOS D700 compared to the "old" EOS 400D) to suggest.
4) The camera is no external battery charger. A quick exchange with a second, externally charged battery is thus impossible. Here is omitted for reasons of cost to a "penny product". After all, however, there is a micro USB charging cable - allowing at least the 230 V-independent shop - and a USB charger.
5) The Original Fujifilm Leather Case for LC-X30 camera black, which was bought by me as an accessory (also from Amazon) It fits like a glove, but has no way to screw with a tripod. So you have to free the camera from its case, to mount them on a tripod once. A 40-year-old leather cover of an old Reveuflex in our household had even then a tripod thread connection!
In summary, that the equipment of the X30 is not thought over. Therefore, there is of me only 4 out of 5 stars.

After contact with Fujifilm Electronic Imaging Europe GmbH, Fujistr. 1, 47533 Kleve, it is clearly NOT GERMAN merchandise that was sent to me by Amazon. Quote: "[...] when German goods is also a German short instructions in the Quick Start Guide We can only charge to receive a price:.. 4.90 + 5.50 shipping and delivery [...]". So now I will pay even 10 more, just because Amazon sent Polish goods? This is anything but nice!

After back and forth correspondence with Fuji Germany I received the German Short manual for free (!!!) per UPS. I call now but customer friendly.
