I purchased the adapter, as I in my household a few devices possess (various laptops and netbooks), which only have a VGA output, my Ausgabegräte (monitors, mini-projector and TV), however, only digital inputs (DP and HDMI) possess.

The image quality I would call on all tested output devices as well. The picture is sharp, the quality of the color signals convinced me. I have not experienced any image defects, artifacts, compression pattern or ghost images, the latter phenomenon actually occurs only during the transmission of analog signals, by means of long, poorly shielded VGA cable.

Although none of my output devices has holes to accommodate the thumbscrews of the converter, the connection was established always sufficient. The extension cable allows a safer / more flexible connection, without that I could notice a decrease in image quality.

The operation was possible without any problems at each tested device. The Windows 8.1 video display management a fast set up and multi-monitor use has always been possible, even if this are the graphics card of the output device and the OS used mainly responsible.
