The lamp has a good brightness, but would not be sufficient to illuminate an entire room. For me, it serves as a balcony and there is lighting bright enough for my needs. Because RGB LEDs always consist of 3 individual LEDs, the brightness depends on the color mixing. The pure single colors are naturally not as bright as mixed colors and white. After powering (power at the socket) makes a color change program (a few seconds per color, then hard transition to the next color). Unfortunately, the LED does not retain the setting that were active in the last use. So you have to always select with the remote control the desired program or static color. For the price, but certainly a good product.
Update March 2012: Unfortunately, the lamp is now broken. For no reason suddenly the green LED failed thus are also all mixed colors such as yellow, turquoise, white and so no longer possible. After the lamp is already a first time had to be replaced after a few days, I am disappointed by the final quality. Pity!
