as decency in my BMW E46 323i with 6-cylinder engine of the oil service I have informed me in advance about the type of oil to use. As a BMW winter-grade motor oil, the EU Common 5W-30, according to BMW Longlife approval prescribes here 04 I've scoured the oils specifically for this release.
This engine oil has approvals for BMW Longlife 1 and Longlife 4. In addition, I had with the previous oil, Castrol Edge, problems, because here was always to hear after a cold start of the engine, the hydraulic tappets game.
That is why I have decided for the Liqui Moly TopTec 4200. There will cherish is in my region and Amazon over 10, - was to have more favorable. This reminds me of the oil company Liqui Moly recommended.
So far I am very satisfied because the hydraulic tappets noise is completely gone and the engine excellent running smoothly. Therefore, I forgive 5 of 5 stars and a strong buy recommendation !!!

Since my new car, BMW E91 318d, again propriety of oil change, I have informed me of the oil to be used variety. Since this oil BMW Longlife01 and Longlife04 met and ACEA A3 / B4 with covers, it is also suitable for cars with particle filter.
