Positives:
- The book is in a very compact format and not take up much space
- The entire route has been divided for drivers to not Tour de France level schaffbare sections (between 35 and 85km max..)
- For every stage a height profile, directions and sections divided average climb and descent
- It is also useful if you can no French
- There is the actual route still alternative routes
Negative
- There is both a north-south as well as north-south variant of the route, with the purpose to me not quite open up because the cards are almost equal.
- If someone is looking for a book by have additional information on sights, so this book is not recommended, because it actually contains only rudimentary Sightseeing Tippe.
- I would have liked, that accommodations are included in the drawing, especially campgrounds. There are at the beginning of the book, although a page with places to stay, this is what camping places concerns but not really complete.
Otherwise, this book is hopefully a lot of joy on our tour :)
Postscript: During the tour have been in the book a few inconsistencies Debunked:
- The route of Nored-southern option from Cluses to the Col de la Colombiere contains no gradient, as shown in Hoehnprofil. It's always on mountain.
- The slope of the Izoard is in the north-south variation in any case with 3Pfeilen to rate.
