This medicine has the skin infection of some fish, probably fungus or bacteria, successfully eliminated. I observed no side effects in Malawi and my Tanganjikacichliden in my 320 liters tank. The treatment was carried out in accordance with the instructions and still continued for about one week after the healing of the affected areas. A later re-occurring infestation of another fish could be cured by immediate application within 2 weeks. For safety, I've stocked with 2 bottles. My currently unoccupied quarantine tank I treated prophylactically. Better safe than sorry!
