The operating buttons:
They have a strange pressure point. The only marking is a very delicate engraving as part of the monitor for the on / off switch. This is like any other pretty transparent (but not too disruptive, because they always do not really see). From behind it is illuminated in the active state of a blue LED, in the inactive state of an orange LED. Both are holding back very discreetly so that it does not dazzle / disturbs.
For OnScreenDisplay:
Very intuitive to use if you ever had a monitor in hand. It does not matter which button is pressed (except the OFF button) and it will firstonce a small menu appears in which you have to decide what you want to do. Among the symbols small triangles are arranged. These are just above the buttons, so that you can see which button performs what function. - Well thought through!
For display in:
Of the colors ago I find it excellent, very good contrast, the basic settings / automatic settings are perfect (except for the brightness, one can but turn down). The only problem I have is, that nowhere was the the screen is glossy. Because I was scared firstonce. After a short settling time I am but resigned. Due to the brightness of the Bildschrims mirroring (eg surfing) not a problem only in movies, or dark areas you can see the reflection but pretty.
The scope of supply:
Included is a power cable for Germany and a cable with (probably) a US plug. - If you want to move spontaneously)
For this purpose even a manual, driver CD, 3.5 "jack cable and a VGA cable. Very disappointing that one today puts instead of HDMI VGA cable to.
The CD and the instructions you should not actually need. At least there was no problem with me.
At this point I would also like to mention again the outlying packing. She is very well thought out and is taken from the cardboard box a styrofoam packing. This can be taken exactly in half (crosswise) apart and there is only the monitor there. So that there is no risk as with others, the "fall out" of the monitor.
The speakers I have not yet tested. Slots thereof are attached to the underside of the screen. I do not expect much of it.
Conclusion: strong buy recommendation! with due to the glossy display, is not for everyone.
