Good musical and wonderful voices

Frank Wildhorn presents a quite worth listening Musical. Those who appreciate the composer will not be disappointed here. After all, would not Wildhorn Wildhorn, if he did not constantly quoted himself. So if J & H, Rudolf or Dracula liked, will find many melodies here.

"The field de Honor" is a bombastic start with folkloric sounds and a beautiful choir. Thomas Borchert leads as Merlin with usual safe-writing a to the subject. In "Sword and Stone" demonstrates Patrick Stanke, that he is one of the best musical singer in the German-speaking countries: a warm yet sympathetic tone.

"The glorious battle" is a beautiful ensemble song tinged with flutes slightly folkloristic.

Only for "Tomorrow you will meet death" it is worth buying the CD. An extremely strong pop song, an up-enhancing ensemble number. Sabrina Weckerlin here shows its strong and expressive voice as Morgana. But Mark Seibert and Eric Papilaya "needles" this song.

Mark Seibert as Lancelot sings "you alone" with a large vocal range, irritating way reminds me of that song extremely Romeo & Juliet (I am innocent).

In "What makes a king out" shows Patrick Stanke once again that he has a beautiful voice and his warm timbre fills the role and the song from ideal. A king, which one would like to follow.

Overall, a very good CD, that has animated me to get me tickets for St. Gallen. Who could Wildhorn, we not disappointed here, this musical is a re-hearing of many famous tunes ;-) I do not mean evil, many composers can be seen again, and the arrangements of Koen Schoots are well done, even if not totally new.

Too bad that the Symphony Orchestra of St. Gallen is not heard on this CD that would sound the given significantly more volume.

For "Wild Horns" is a must, also, because here the elite of the German musical singer gathered with Sabrina Weckerlin of course one of the best singers. That it is often to "use music" is at Wildhorn, is certainly indisputable, but does not bother me further.
