The novels of Mary Higgins Clark are always built the same way, but his well-conducted intrigues do not encourage us to let go of our reading. Elizabeth wants to investigate the murder of her sister; for her, no doubt, this is Tom, the groom, the culprit. It is under pressure from all sides for not testifying against it at trial, especially as gray areas remain about how the tragedy took place ... The mystery deepens and the outcome surprises us as always. I have read several novels of this author, and I do not get enough ... I recommend!
