Opis 60s cable - Retro phone sixties vintage design with dial and metal bell (White) (Office supplies & stationery)

Customer Review

Now that I have my Opis phone for some time in use, I tell gladly of my experience with the telephone device in the style of the 60s. The unit arrived quickly and well packaged to that installation was self-explanatory and lasted only two minutes. The phone makes a high quality impression and is very sturdy and well made. However, the dial runs unusually fast, almost frantically, and can not be compared with the delightfully leisurely chatter of my old W48. The sound is very clear, linear, accurate and exceeds the dynamic qualities of modern buttons phones considerably. The often criticized for its low volume ringing sound, I feel not as too low: the discreet mechanical ringing corresponds probably the most authentic his historical models from the sixties. The built-redial is a very useful tribute to the modern era. Only criticism both on the pictures on the net and on the packaging affects the phone housing slightly wider. The somewhat narrow instrument would be much nicer if it would comply with the figures. Conclusion: the phone is in terms of quality, haptics (up to the speed of the dial), and technical equipment a very good successful reinterpretation of old dials phones. If you do not make the mistake to compare the Opis device with gutrestaurierten originals, you can be happy with the phone quite. After a short time of use you will find that the missing number memory and other gimmicks of modern phones are dispensable and use their own mental powers (amazing how many numbers you can remember back to a very short time) benefits. The associated slowing of life I enjoy. I would recommend this phone Opis therefore.
