First ahead: The purchase of a smartphone always depends on the needs. I wanted above all calls, weather, train rides, emails queries and use Messenger.
Phone features:
This is the greatest strength: Both speaking and listening can understand each other very clearly and distinctly, the receiver does not break off and the call quality can be described as very good. In addition, I manage not to charge nearly two days, although I telephone, e-mail query and in between surf. This in turn is definitely not a matter of course. The function of the messenger running perfectly and all the messages reach me (also network dependent). Ingeniously, the dual SIM feature that allows is to operate a data plan and a phone tariff at the same time and assign two each have their function.
Internet:
With regard to the query by e-mail, the structure of the E-Mailprogammes and the DB-app can be completely satisfied with the performance. All inquiries are dealt with promptly and navigation is simple. When it comes to the longer surf the Internet, I would those who primarily do this, advise to another device. First, the display is fine, but very small and therefore not very inviting for a long surf times. Second, the zoom function works with me not always in the first attempt, but sometimes delayed, so I sometimes need to enlarge text time. Third, the marking of text content and numbers is extremely difficult and does not always work. Item numbers are not recognized as such and dialed, but interpreted by the phone as a phone number that I could call. The direct dial a telephone number from the browser does not work, so I always have to write down numbers to me in order to use them. In addition, the performance of the network is generally OK, but is it more than satisfactory (despite Telekom network with 21.6 Mbit). In short, it reached to use, fun is mostly just different.
Windows Operating System:
Here divorced perhaps the spirits. In principle, the basic system is fast and all the essential apps are available. But:
Many apps that are self-evident for Android and IOS, does not exist or they are not nearly as good as their counterparts. Example:
Kicker App: On my old Iphone was this app standard fare. She ran super fast, all news were well laid out and I had a lot of fun. On the Windows Phone this app can also be found, just is neither layout nor the functionality close to the level of the other two systems. This can also be observed in other apps, but is more an overall problem for all Windows Phones.
Other:
Two points need to be highlighted as pluses.
1. The navigation software is free and keeps its promises. One can make many settings, hinzuschalten destinations including banks petrol stations, the performance is very good, the speech is going well and you always konnt their destination. In this regard, you can save a Navi, if you have a Windows Phone.
2. Office is preinstalled and runs great. I can open, edit, and send everything. May sound banal, but it is for my everyday life a huge relief. Of course, this mobile office is not a complete replacement Office. But go a successful, free way to make major changes immediately.
A negative point I would like to mention:
1. The camera is no joy. She shoots below average photos and is not at the level of a middle-class smartphones. Those who want to make just a quick snapshot, must reckon with two or need more tests until an acceptable image was shot.
Conclusion:
Who is this smart phone aimed at?
I would summarize it as follows:
Those a smartphone for calls and for minor works need (e-mail, Office). All others who like to surf, play or should photograph'd better choose other smartphones.
In my opinion, it is very well done, if you know what you need it. I will do my Lumia due to the positive characteristics not want to miss, because it suits my needs.
