The wrist strap I do not use. Camera You can easily stow in a pocket - without having this very bulging. I think that's very beneficial.
One can simply open the camera - as with mobile phones - and then it is ready for use. Is used to trigger a button which is conveniently located on the front.
Also WiFi and NFC are available, eg for remote triggering with an app. Have I made it twice, but works very well.
