Good plate but poorly described

First, something to deliver - and I do not know if that belongs here: Last Friday afternoon, I noticed that I would need a large external hard drive at the weekend. So I wanted the evening parade through the relevant markets and buy one. Before, I wanted to get an overview of Amazon me. And then I remembered this "Express Delivery" button on - next day delivery to 12 clock. I could not believe that it will work. And so I tried it, so ordered Friday afternoon, and I was awakened by my cell phone at 8 Saturday morning, and as the DHL driver was off and said that he had as a delivery ... respect!
Now to the plate. The design is a matter of taste. It is just a black box. Those who like functional elegance, which they will like. The metal case definitely makes a solid impression. The often mentioned blue LED is extremely bright, in fact, it's enough time as a reading lamp replacement. But me do not mind that. The board is quiet and (at least on the housing) more than a little lukewarm. If it is not used for a while, they seem to go into a standby mode. You then need a few seconds to boot up.
What I find not good: The packaging is - for Win98 to XP .... OK - who has some idea now know that it is formatted with FAT32. But this means that the files may not be larger than 4 GB. With a 500 GB - disk but it's probably not unusual for someone larger files will draufspielen. When video capturing, for example, upfront fast times files to the 50GB. So I first 2 partitions set up a FAT32 for compatibility with WinME and NTFS for large files. No problem at all, but for someone who is not familiar with it, which is intended rather annoying. There probably would have times are an indication in the instruction manual, and a manual including software tool for reformatting to be there.
Ah yes, the manual ... That's really unnecessary. That you put the USB cable to the USB port and turn on the power switch, each should be obvious who buys something. As I said, a few sentences about filesystems were it meaningful.
Nevertheless 5 Star - 500 GB for around 100 euros, and ne reading light equal with this ...
