1. The panel has an internal thread, but this is not as written by my Vorrezensenten 62mm but 67mm. It is located at the front of the bezel, which you have to buy a lens cover a 67mm cover. Why? The aperture on its side toward the lens, no further 62mm internal thread, so you can attach either the sun visor or the lens cap. Unfortunately, not both. In my opinion, the 67mm threaded front is only conditionally for attaching a filter (which is still possible) because this then sitting in front of the panel and thus in scattered light / water spray is unprotected again. Then you also need no longer stop.
2. Yes, the aperture can vignetting on XF23mm f / 1.4 lens from Fujifilm (35mm equivalent)! If they are screwed directly into the lens, and thus no need to use any filter (unless you screw a 67mm front to the diaphragm - not tested), you will find virtually no vignetting at the extreme edges of an image at f / 1.4. But if you like I used a protective / UV filter on the lens, the iris, together with the filter unfortunately really wide and then displays an already significant vignetting at the edges. It is then just visible further out than the original panel to the recoveries, because it is equivalent to the original in advance and will be visible in the image.
Conclusion:
1. Neatly processed product with speedy delivery.
2. The use is somewhat complicated since the aperture is not the 62mm thread to the front retains back but be extended to 67mm. Therefore: New lens cap needed. (Point deduction)
3. The use of a filter in the new 67mm thread makes no sense in my eyes, because it is exposed on the front. Presumably, therefore, if necessary, to vignetting.
4. It would make sense been a 62mm female thread, so you can at least use the 62mm lens cap again. As the sun visor with 67mm is very narrow one would probably not elicit a filter in this additional thread for lack of space again properly. (Point deduction)
5. This panel would buy Used with the Fujifilm XF 23mm f / 1.4, for the many, you have to decide between protection filter or aperture. Together with a filter aperture is too wide and vignetting!
