What I can say after 3 weeks of daily use:
Quality product with a small LCD screen. Not easy to quickly read what is written on it when driving (many things on screen and small font size)
The blue backlight is nice however. The camera feels good in the cigarette lighter despite the moving car. The articulated arm (a little short for my taste) is rigid and can guide the transmitter properly. The doc (doc micro ...) comes with is clear and concise. For having once read completely, ca helped me in the Bluetooth connectivity. (Press short press ... ..)
This transmitter recognizes well my SD card, my USB key, my nokia 5800 ... no worries for me
The remote control of the steering wheel, as shown in one of the previous posts, is infrared link with the transmitter. This forces has that nothing will disturb the signal on its way. Depending on where your cigarette lighter, it will be important to study the position and orientation of the two devices. The best is to direct the transmitter towards you (and thus to the steering wheel) which clearly improves the results of communications with the remote.
A detail on the remote control: hard to appreciate the different buttons to the touch when driving at night ... I hope that the habit will do the rest.
I still untested the second small remote comes with but the ergonomics is effective. It is useful to ask the people sitting in the back to take care of the music on board to stay focused on the road.
I have also read in previous posts that this product was one of the most powerful in the market. I did not find the info somewhere. For me, the only problem is the instability of the signal received by your car radio. I think the quality is closely linked to the quality of the job itself and its tuner and the antenna location and its reception quality (mine aged 12 .. This may explain this). I live on the Toulouse region and a large number of radio stations are arranged on the FM band .. But I have trouble keeping a clear and consistent signal while cycling. The signal is often blocked by the appearance of another radio signal ... I still fumble a bit to find a clear frequency but that will come.
The pickup works well, the sound is very clear (audio or telephone).
Before you buy, be sure that your position can be adjusted manually. (Disable RDS would probably more)
FYI, there is also a useful enough cable that comes with it is a jack / jack cable that I use to connect my mp3 player ...
In short, I recommend this product.
