I bought this product for a Halloween costume.
To actually use it is not yet come, but I've been practicing a few times on my hand.
(I use besides the actual wax nor the appropriate spatula and Translucent Powder)
So far, I can not fault the product. With the spatula it easy to work with and my first (bumpy) tests are actually quite passable. The amount that you need for a wound, are extremely low. So I think that I will have for a long time some of the can.
The product is of high quality in my eyes and complements any horror costume. However, and I can only add my voice to previous reviews, it takes practice. I've tried my hand only to small wounds on my hand and at the beginning it is a bit tricky. The wax sticks (something like those little wax plate, with which you can fix candles in their posts).
On YouTube I found a good video for handle of Dermawachs: / watch? V = 2yWBx_F4Ke4?
The removal of the mass turned out to be the beginning of my "test series" as not so easy and I was about to think about an alternative for my costume. But I did not let me scare luckily.
The solution was as simple as obvious. Moisture cleansing tissues of bebe.
Once you have the majority of the mass scraped with a spatula, you can simply use a facial tissue and any residue can be easily removed. Alternatively function Brillenputztücher (the boxed "paper thingies" "Flink & Sauber" Rossmann) quite well.
In summary: practice, practice, practice + cleansing tissues spare a frustration and bring the desired result :)
