Exchange had a defective drive in my MacBook and I have decided after a long search for this WD SATA disk (price / performance / previous reviews). Shopping directly from Amazon - as always - without any problems. Installation went quickly and without difficulty. Granted, it is a bit noisy and consumes more power in battery mode when the built originally by Apple model.
However disturbing vibration, clicking or a turbo noise I can not confirm. Access times are better (clear, they also rotates faster)
One more thing: Do not be confused by the dimensions in the Amazon description (23x9cm). As great as the disk is not natural.
