Packing:
The support is delivered in a very simple packaging and can be unpacked easily.
Processing:
The holder is made very solid and has only one ball joint. Critical points are not connected, but screwed - which pleases a man's heart;).
Swivel range:
The ball joint is fixed properly on a screw. My initial concerns that the holder can not be properly positioned on very gently sloping windshields, scattered very quickly during installation - with the ball joint can align the holder very good.
The hinge is pivotable by 54 ° and rotated by 360 °, in addition, the arm is angled at 40 ° - so that the most installation situations should be displayed.
Fixation:
Laterally, the phones of an adjustable gripper to be kept with foam rubber pad. The gripper can be adjusted in 2mm increments due to the screening (1 mm on each side). Intermediate values must take the foam rubber.
Lt. Manufacturer assumes the holder phones with a width of between 46 and 76mm to what extent also true. The Ideos X3 (55mm) and the 820 (65mm) fit well - solely my Nokia E50 was fixed inadequately with its 43mm width.
Super dissolved the lower bracket. This can be moved in a track, so you can accommodate different supply sockets. Between 5 and 30mm - asynchronously - everything is configurable - a neat thing.
Mounting:
The vacuum cleaner also gives a very good feeling. Once attached and fixed to the pleasantly firm setting lever sticks the holder on the disc.
Despite all the praise, the holder also has a vehicle-specific weakness:
For cars that are factory-tuned a little harder, the holder vibrates considerably. Together with a reflective display has a certain annoying factor.
When tuned comfortable vehicles is not a problem.
Conclusion for me:
A reasonable holder that works well, depending on the vehicle. I subtract one point, because I use the holder unfortunately in a vehicle that is tuned harder and have thus struggling with the vibrations.
