I have a relatively wide 2.5-inch hard drive of Medion, which does not fit in the normal case. But in this case they XL easy to store.
The case is black with red and gray text outside, here are the manufacturer Wicked Chili, printed its logo and the word HDD. The bag has a strong, stable outer shell. Opened or closed we. By a zipper, this is wide and smooth and has a well-to-grip drawstring
The case itself is made after the opening of a lower part of the disk and an upper part for accessories. The lower part has 3 rubber mounts that are to hold the hard drive in the tray. You put the hard drive through the gums into the tray and then it sits well in here. In the width of my hard disk has little play, in length they should still be about 1.5 cm larger and would fit anyway. The top compartment has a net over about 70% of the area, here you can eg store the USB cable or other accessories.
The entire case is based on the inside with a soft velvet-like material, which protects the drive from scratches etc. Padded Case is the otherwise not foam, but it is a pure hardcase without inner padding.
The case is said to have an anti-shock function and falls and shocks should be fine with that. I have not tried this with my hard drive. But the material seems to be suitable, I would say.
For 5.90 euros the Case of Wicked Chili has a good value for money and is highly recommended.
