Important:
Every free 19 PIN - USB 3.0 slot on the motherboard can supply 2x USB, so who wants to have the panel with 4x USB also needs according 2x free slots.
The installation was foolproof for me lay. The screws fit prima (PC from the power disconnect, remove the side cover right and left, remove the front panel for floppy drive, fix from either side with 2 screws, plug the cable into the motherboard, finished). ITEC is amazingly well made and who rankommt during installation from one side only: It will keep as good with 2 instead of 4 screws.
Only the holes for the mounting screws on the panel sit as far forward on the lateral guide rails, that the panel is not 100% flush with the desktop - front closes but 1-2mm pure stands into the case. Whether this is now on the panel or on my PC case I can not say, and it's just a (totally unimportant for me) optical factor.
Conclusion:
The external 2.5 "hard drive gets enough power and data transfer can be 1: 1 as soon as the USB on the rear of a simple and inexpensive solution 3.0 ports - to be recommended without hesitation..
