Met my expectations as a USB 3.0 hub for older iMac.

The flash offers before Christmas for 105 Euro + 29 Euro for a cable were below my threshold of pain.
With the result I am very satisfied. The USB transfer now runs about twice as fast as before when USB 3 hard drives. The limitation of the USB bus on max. 2.5 Gbit falls here not noticeable consequence. Only with fast SSD drives that would be measurable.
For me, a huge progress. Very good is also that all connected drives go good together with the Mac into hibernation.
All 2.5 "drives are also reaching power.
Even as a docking station for a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro Retona worth it. The area also worth the FW800 and the Ethernet interface that are missing the new Apple notebooks. If you connect a monitor to the second TB output of the dock, you can with a plug (+ electricity) dock the MacBook at all Peripheral Equipment at once. Exactly that's the sense of Thunderbolt.
