. To date, after a total of 3 times 1 hour play time on the grass we can almost only positive news:
The kit arrived quickly, was complete and well packed.
Rackets, balls and even the bag is well made (but not very well, see below).
The rackets are very light (185g), stable (aluminum) and taut (12kp).
The handles of the bats are not slippery and are comfortable to hold.
So far, none of the speeder broke, so they appear quite stable.
The wind was not yet an issue, the draft shield we did not even try it.
There are good descriptions in many languages in which Speeder (ball) what is suitable and what rules to play a match.
The color is neon-like we finding good, but is a matter of taste. Except for the green cross-speeder, the balls can be found again well in the bushes.
In the supplied bag also fits the Speeder Tube (with the five balls). Using strap the bag can then be strapped to the back (eg when cycling).
What we do not like so much:
The very gentle adhesive residues, which did not really bother to the handles of the racket.
Set a little chemical smell not particularly strong, but if you give it respects but noticeably.
The labeling of the Speeder-plastic tube may peel off and can be found on skin and textiles again.
The Speeder make in flight whistling noises us störts not, the neighbors perhaps already.
What struck us as badminton Umsteiger playing:
You need a lot more space than at Badminton (approx 25m x 10m)
The clubs are still significantly heavier than badminton what my wife noticed in the wrist.
The larger distances the players have to be more focus on where the ball hinspielt why it is recommended almost immediately a set with the Easy Court (ie the mobile field boundaries) to order. Even if you do not intend, compete against each other in the match, the limitations are sure the orientation. But it is (like us) without.
Included were a fun Speeder (for entry and practicing quite nice), two match-Speeder (for normal games), a cross-Speeder (in strong winds or for more distance) and a Night Speeder with 4 light sticks. Latter we could not test, however. In the summer it gets dark later stop. Even the supplied wind ring, which can be set up in addition to the speeder, we have not yet used.
Conclusion: Suitable for beginners or badminton Umsteiger definitely. Even the price of just 50 is justified.
--- Addendum 08:09:13 --- Night Speeder with glow stick ---
Have the set now often used and are still very satisfied. Because it is rather dark now, we could also try out the night speeder with glow stick. The light is really easy to use and also lights bright enough so you can still play in the dark (his partner but you should already make out).
Unfortunately, the tube was broken relatively quickly. You did not have to hit strong, but after about 10 minutes it was down. Each time you beat now distributed droplets of glowing liquid on bats, meadow, clothing and skin. Glanced times quite funny, until you get the stuff in the eye. Burns anything can be washed out, I still have to but no longer have.
Changes to the five stars for me but nothing. The Starlights I regard as a gimmick and will in future only be playing in the light.
