a blemish I noticed:
the monitor buttons are not illuminated and therefore hard to find / to use.
a coarser error:
the mini-DisplayPort connector does not work satisfactorily:
The screen is not always recognized in the correct resolution. Often it will be recognized only with 640x480px, where you can not even then even change the resolution, because it appears as "Integrated Monitor" in the Control Panel. Also it is sometimes not recognized, and the screen displays only the message "Entering power saving mode", although both (Monitor & PC) and are active. The Dell Display Manager does not recognize the monitor in both cases, then as a monitor.
This problem can be a disconnect of the screen and possibly. Even just pulling the power plug at the screen (and then re-plug) to clear the whole.
Even if my laptop is taken out of the stand-by, it never detects the monitor. I need him then always from - and turn up so he mitkriegt that he may again show what / is, although the monitor was only in "Power Saving Mode".
On the laptop itself can not lie, because I tried it with multiple devices.
Both of these problems can occur even after a stand-by, which is quite strenuous, because then after every standby have to waste 5 minutes for the first time that the monitor again everything right (as before) indicates.
the problem appears when U2414H default or occur frequently, and magazines it is noticed in reviews:

For this reason, 1 star deduction because, although you can change over to the other terminals, but if the monitor DisplayPort support in theory, then that should also be properly fold it.
