Important for me were the following criteria:
- Compact design, takes away little space
- My latte macchiato glasses (13.2 cm) fit under the coffee spout
- The coffee spout is height adjustable
- You can use both coffee beans and ground coffee
- The brewing unit can be removed and cleaned
To Kaffeequaliät: I only use caffeine-free beans and drink maybe every few months times an espresso of ground "real" coffee. With my current beans Segafredo "Cafe Senza" I get a very good espresso out after some trial and error with freeness and quantity of coffee. The coffee but tastes bland. It will be a little better if you max represents the dial for the amount of coffee to the right. But satisfactory is not. Since I will have to try different beans. The Crema but is very good.
Very good, I find that the machine both when entering and when you turn off and rinsed that there is a button for manual flushing. I always ask to flush a used cup underneath, so I have no splashes and must not constantly empty the drip tray.
The espresso from ground coffee tastes but to nothing - with my previous machine Saeco Talea ring but I have so hinbekommen a great espresso. I have a feeling that the prescribed maximum amount of coffee is far too small. The coffee pellet is also substantially thinner than the pellet from freshly ground beans. The Saeco scoops almost twice as much as the sums attached DeLongi-scoops. Unfortunately DeLongi threatened in the manual with defects, you should pour a larger amount of ground coffee. I'm still going to try. That is in any case already had a point deduction.
The cappuccino maker I have not even tried. Unlike my Saeco can the part not completely disassemble for cleaning. I have no desire to bacterial cultures and therefore foams me the milk rather use a separate creamer on. This is a small minus point in mind.
Was also at my machine covering the drip tray, on which to set the coffee cups, already scratched by the first coffee cup. Something is very annoying. The machine is indeed a true otherwise Plastikbomber - so why use here of all places, a scratch-prone steel part?
I had read the other reviews before buying, and therefore knew that the descaling process bypasses the brewing unit and therefore you manually have to descale by repeatedly pressing the purge button, the brewing unit. Due to the very low price, and the above-mentioned properties (I had 279 instead of 499 paid), I decided nevertheless to buy. I did not have to descale - maybe I'll regret buying yet :-) Nevertheless, this design flaw is for me an unacceptable Macke, and therefore there is of me only three points - also because of the espresso does not taste of ground coffee.
