The camera is packed in the protective cover, the lens aperture is adjusted only with the cord and then the lens is enclosed with a velcro cuff. With very short lenses (eg 50 mm fixed focal length, 18-55 mm kit lens) focusing or zooming is hardly or not possible. For slightly longer lenses (eg 18-105 mm, 17-50 mm high-quality / 18-50 mm) focusing and zooming is easier, but a little practice includes HERE. TIP: Lens hood mount on the lens! The shutter protects even something before raindrops on the lens, and on the other hand, the Velcro cuff be pushed further forward to the GeLi. This gives it towards the camera a little more space to operate zoom or focus ring.
Through the lower zipper opening the rain cover can also be used on a tripod.
Whether tripod use or Freehand, the camera can be easily operated by the hand openings, even when shooting in portrait orientation (but which can also vary from camera to camera).
The view through the large clear film is good. As if the weather inside wrapper mist because the internal hands, I got used a small cloth (microfiber cloth, washcloth, etc.) directly to grab the envelope. Works very well!
So far I have the rain cover used in moderate rain and at times strong rain and storm on the coast. The protective effect was perfectly adequate in all cases. A heavy rain I would not suspend the shell, however.
Conclusion: worthwhile purchase for photographers who take pictures (with matching lenses) often in the rain and wind, and do not want fiddling with plastic bags and disposable rain covers.
