Mileage:
Out of the box makes the model 40 km / (measured) h. The journey takes a 4500 NiMh battery about 30-35 minutes. Here the car has still has reserves. The standard translation is 70:19. Longest possible translation is 67:22. This makes it about 53 km / h. The journey time will then be reduced significantly. Currently I drive it with 67:20. This is a good compromise between Beschleuning, top speed and driving time for me. This applies, however, all for NiMh. With LiPos the mileage should increase significantly. Unfortunately, the steering has a lot of game. However, I would describe it as price ranges typical. This could definitely be reduced by sensible tuning. I do not mind.
Parts / durability / spare parts:
The shelf life is fine. It's like to break something. Smaller strikes he forgives however. The advantage of Tamiya is that the supply of spare parts is very good and the portions are rather inexpensive. Very easily and permanently "damaged" are the axles. The also bend even in small fender benders, so that the wheels actually constantly "eggs". 4 axles cost jeoch only 7-8 euros. So bearable. Something unpleasant was that the regulator suddenly broke. In that case, I had to wait for the replacement electronics for nearly four weeks, However replaced under warranty.
In summary:
