The Quattro LNB replaced a 10-year-old, defective brand LNB to my 80 ASTRO bowl. The four cables lead from the roof about 15 feet into the basement to the multiswitch (Kathrein). The installation is not a problem. There is a matching respective satellite dish 40mm bracket required. This is, as usual, not included with the LNB. The connections at the LNB are not closer together than it was on my old LNB the case. I had no problem to screw the F-plug. Some reviewers complain about the absence of a weather protection. However, the LNB has a very comfortable weather protection. The lower lateral parts of the LNB consist of rubberized material. Keeping these side panels firmly downwards towards connector, draws, the coming to light weatherproof the F connector covers completely. Unfortunately, there is no corresponding reference to packaging or package insert. I stumbled across this important component ...
(+) Simple assembly (+) Weather Protection (+) Good reception performance (much better than my old loud meter) (+) Good value for money (I paid just over 20 euros)
(O) scanty or nonexistent documentation
Now, the part has to prove over the years ... Would buy the LNB again.
