Very handy for quickly finding the main features of a grape variety and the most famous appellations produced from this grape. I have nevertheless made it 4 stars because the book does not distinguish sufficiently in the organoleptic characteristics of wine made from this grape each that comes from the grape itself from what is due to winemaking practices and other oenological techniques used in vineyards and appellations where this variety is king. So, there are very often the same flavors for very different grape varieties, because they come not from the grape itself, but the know-how of the winemakers.
