Good replacement for a standard bulb

I'm not a big fan of energy-saving lamps, in this it just takes me a long time until the light reaches its full brightness. Having stayed in pear shape, among other things other LED lamp by Toshiba - have tested and this convinced me I wanted to test these LED bulbs in the form of Toshiba.

The lamp is packed in a plastic / cardboard packaging, it takes a while until one finally comes close to the bulb. When I then had in hand, I noticed first the weight. The LED bulb weighs 62 g less than the LED lamps used so far from me. The base of the lamp continues upwards as in a light bulb. Then sits a spherical matte cover made of plastic on the base.

The screwing in the bulb socket is without any problems. The advantage compared to energy-saving lamps is that after turning on the LED lamp already has its full brightness. The flare is fully illuminated, you see no dark areas this problem I had with another LED lamp.

The light is warm white, thereby making the impression that she is quite bright. It is hard to distinguish from a 60 watt - for which also speaks the fact that the color temperature is 2700K and so is equal to the characteristic color temperature of a 60 watt bulb. A red cup z. B., who stood under the lamp, seemed rather dull-red on another LED lamp in this light is the red. The lamp is not dimmable. After prolonged with the scrap cover the LED is only slightly warm, but the base heats up a bit, but I could feel him still burn without me.

The average service life is 15,000 h, which corresponds to a service life of 15 years, assuming that the LED lamp in 1,000 h - than about 3 hours / day - on is. The cycles are in this lamp, according to the manufacturer, at> 15000. This is compared to information from other manufacturers on average but who knows what is behind> hides so everything.

I was allowed to Toshiba LED Incandescent Replacements replaces 60 W test LDAC1127E7EUC. The light bulbs have different base, weight and length is also different. The bulb-reviewed here has the advantage that it consumes less power according to the manufacturer. In handling, I can not detect any differences. The brightness is in my opinion the same.

This is now my third LED lamp from Toshiba and they convinced me, like the others. It is, to my mind, quite bright. The light is warm and pleasant, the color reproduction is good. The service life is similar to that of comparable LED lamps. So far I am satisfied, I hope it stays that way.
