The Meindl Respond Mid is a perfect recreational hiking boot in my eyes. It surprises me that some of the shoe give bad reviews, because he has become leaky. The Respond is not really a hiking boot, but a casual shoe. Of course I wear it well for walking, but if it is too hard, it's sure sometime on. Meindl gives him as a Category A shoe, which means that it is suitable for well-maintained hiking trails, nothing more. Whoever adheres to it, is very satisfied with this model. Snow hikes through the mountains, I would not recommend the carriers. Meindl and other companies also have matching shoes for this offer. If you want more, you have to pay more! However, I will revise my report after a few walks again.
