The initial start-up is done in seconds and already the Navi is ready for use. The optics I find succeeded reminds me of my Navigon Navi. The accessories are ok, there is the suction cup mount for the window, the MagClick adapter (which is engaged in the bracket), a USB cable and a "manual" in Faltkartenformat. Detailed instructions located on the navigation and can be read via a PC.
What I find to be a disadvantage that is the power cord is really permanently installed on the adapter. Especially for short distances where the cable may not be required (eg for TMC) depends then still in the car around.
One difficulty was to install the Content Manager to the map updates to install. Only it did not work to install the CM from Navi on the PC, and as it worked then showed the CM to which the service was unavailable. After a little research I found out that this happens most often at Becker.
I then uninstalled the CM and I pulled him from the Becker website, and lo and behold, folded immediately. Registration, install the update took about an hour. TOP.
As mentioned, the touchscreen of the main criticism here is some. I can not confirm, all entries will be recognized precisely. No unintended double clicks.
What I can confirm is that the screen in direct sunlight is milky. I can not see yet all without problems.
Navigating with the Becker like it very much, the look is nicely understated, no unnecessary impressions. The vision is grandiose, rauszuzoomen especially with the possibility of gradually. The icons for settings to take account of the size of the display hardly take up valuable space.
Street names appear discreetly on your screen to the street when you approach, without intruding or interfering with the navigation, I really like. Setting options are many, and after a bit of acclimatization you will find also quickly master.
I find the Navi itself very good, all 5 stars for it. But for the cable and the difficulties with the CM I subtract a star.
I hope my video you can help a little, should it arise questions or you have a general, just use the comment function :-)
