I have had it be a few weeks in the store before I unpacked it - now I have it in use for several weeks and am satisfied. The matching 7 keys China Import mouse works tabellos on the soft surface. Only the edges fray Lightly, as it does not concern the usual plastic, which was stuck to the rubber pad but a very thin velvet material which is probably printed.
The value for money is perfectly fine and it is also a good size with which one has enough workspace even when gaming.
