The Sleeve is ready for immediate use and makes a great first impression. The processing of the seams and the felt is clean and reliable. After the first insertion of a Macbook Pro Retina (with Hard Case) was a bit tedious, but sure to be be pushed a little easier with time because the material over time is somewhat elastic. The thickness of 5mm thick felt, is sufficient in any case, and should protect the Macbook from a short fall height. Personally, I carry the Macbook Sleeve with the backpack and there it fits very well in.
The only thing, in my opinion, a little weak acting is the rubber band. However, this should also be sufficient, as long as it is not shaken back and forth.
Therefore, 5 stars from me for this price / performance ratio.
